Involves placing glass cups on the body, commonly on the back but can be used on several areas of the body, helping to relieve muscle tension and heal chronic injury. The cup is heated creating a vacuum then applied to muscle and tissue stimulating a strong blood flow to the area. Also great for lymphatic stimulation.
This scraping technique provides a deep stretch and release of connective tissue releasing muscle tension, reducing pain and improving range of motion. Gua sha benefits blood and lymph circulation as well as stimulating the bodies inflammatory and immune response.
